An artfully curated degustation led guests on a refined culinary journey from the sun-drenched flavours of Murcia, Spain to the vibrant gastronomic landscape of Melbourne, Australia.

To celebrate the launch of Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru, BATIK curated a layered experience, inspired by the rich history, sun-soaked landscapes, and vibrant culture of Murcia, Spain. The cocktail and dining experience invited guests on a meticulously curated sensory journey – one that blurred the boundaries between art, flavour, sound, and technology. Conceived as a space to ignite the senses, the environment transported participants beyond the ordinary, weaving a narrative that celebrated both nature and innovation.

The experience began in the golden lemon orchards of Murcia, where sunlight filtered through citrus trees, evoking warmth, freshness, and the vitality of the Mediterranean. From there, guests were guided through a transition from day to night, an immersive passage that followed the Earth’s natural clock and reflected the passage of time in both visual and emotional tones.

As the environment shifted, surrealist landscapes emerged – dreamlike interpretations of the natural world layered with subtle allusions to humanity’s legacy. These abstract visions echoed ancient civilisations and the enduring connection between people and place. The installation became more than a setting; it was a living, breathing homage to memory, nature, and the passage of time – anchored in a single, evocative moment that lingered long after the experience ended.
